Photos, pets and what comes out the other end.
What do I get for free?
Your first Pet Thoughts creation gives you three captions written for your photo, on a card you can download. No card details needed. Your studio shows the cost and your balance before you start. Visit Pricing for account top-ups and printed gift prices.
Does it have to be a dog or a cat?
Not at all. Hamsters, rabbits, lizards, birds, fish and the occasional suspicious tortoise all work. If you can see their face, we can read their mind.
What can I make?
Funny thoughts, personalised portraits, comics, trading cards, colouring pages, greeting cards for 66 occasions, songs, spoken messages and films. You can also make a gentle memorial portrait. Every studio has its own creative controls and shows the price before you start.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo where you can see their face, ideally with just one pet. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos are accepted, up to 20 MB. We convert HEIC before you upload it.
My iPhone photo won’t upload. What can I do?
HEIC photos are converted automatically in your browser. If conversion fails, try another photo or export it as a JPG. Your selected studio choices stay in this tab while you try again.
How many pictures do I get from one creation?
Your studio explains exactly what is included before you create. Pet Thoughts and occasion cards give you three designs to choose from; a portrait or memorial gives you one picture. Trading Cards includes a front and back. Comic Strip lets you choose the panel count and layout. Audio and film studios include their playable creation and cover artwork.
Is it drawn by a person?
Each creation is made from your photo using AI, with your studio choices guiding its artwork, words and layout. Results vary. If generation fails, its reserved credits return to your balance.
What if a creation goes wrong?
If generation fails, its credits return to your balance. If a printed gift arrives damaged or wrong, we’ll reprint it or refund you.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create an account or sign in with an email link before making a creation. There’s no password to remember. Your account keeps your creations, credit balance and purchase history together, including your first free Pet Thoughts creation.
Can I share what I make?
Yes. Every creation is private until you share its link, and you can stop sharing whenever you like. You can use your creations however you like for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Paying
Credits, your balance and paying right here.
How much does it cost?
Your first Pet Thoughts creation is free. Add £5, £20, £50 or £100, or choose your own amount from £5. Each £1 adds 100 credits. Every studio shows the price of your selected finish, length and voice before you create, even when you’re signed out.
Is it a subscription?
No. You choose when to add credits, from £5. There’s no recurring payment, and credits don’t expire.
Where can I check my balance?
Your account shows your available credits, their value in pounds, purchases, creations and refunds. Remaining earlier creation-pack credits are converted into penny credits, rounded up; the original purchase records stay in your history.
What if I don’t have enough credits?
Your studio offers a top-up without losing your photo or choices. Credits are held while your creation is being made, spent when it finishes and returned if generation fails.
Can I get a refund on my top-up?
Haven’t used any of it? Contact us within 14 days of buying it for a full refund. Buying credits doesn’t, by itself, waive your cancellation rights. Your legal rights still apply.
What if a creation fails?
Its reserved credits return to your balance. Check your credit history in your account, or ask us to check it for you.
How do I pay?
By card, securely here on BoopBoops. Stripe processes your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are in pounds. We do not currently collect VAT; the price shown is the amount you pay.

Gifts and delivery
Cards, mugs, prints and canvases, and what happens if one goes astray.
Can I put it on a mug?
Yes. Any creation can become a card (£5.99, posted), a mug, an A4 print or a canvas. UK delivery is free on orders over £30.
How do I order a printed gift?
Make a creation first, in Pet Thoughts or one of the portrait styles. On your result, choose “Send it as a card”, “Put it on a mug”, “Frame it” or “Hang it on the wall”, then pay by card. It’s printed to order and posted to you.
How much is delivery?
Cards are always posted free. Anything else is £4.79 to post, or free when your order comes to £30 or more. We deliver to UK addresses.
How long does delivery take?
Usually, from the day you order to your door: greeting card, 3–5 working days; mug, 4–7 working days; a4 print, 4–7 working days; canvas, 5–8 working days.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Printed gifts go to UK addresses only. Wherever you are, you can still make, download and share creations.
Can I order gifts of different creations together?
Each order is for one creation, and you can put it on as many things as you like. A different creation is its own order, with its own delivery.
What if my gift arrives damaged or wrong?
Email us within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We’ll reprint it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and you won’t need to send it back. That’s on top of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Can I return a gift if I change my mind?
Because every gift is made just for you, with your pet on it, it can’t be returned just because you’ve changed your mind. That exception is set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If something’s wrong with it, we’ll put it right.
My order hasn’t arrived. What now?
If it hasn’t turned up within 15 working days of being sent, email us with your order number and we’ll send it again or refund it.

Privacy
Your photos, your details, and how to make them disappear.
What happens to my photo?
We use it to make your creation, then delete the original within a day. Creations stay private unless you share the link, and we never use them to train AI.
Who can see my creations?
Only you, until you share a creation’s link. Then anyone with the link can see it, and you can stop sharing at any time.
How long do you keep my creations?
Without an account, 30 days, then they’re deleted. With an account, until you delete them or close your account.
Will my photo give away where I live?
No. We strip the location data and other hidden camera details out of every photo before it’s used.
Will you use my pet in your marketing?
Not unless you’ve said yes first. And we never use your photos or creations to train AI.
How do I get my data deleted?
Email us from the address you used and say so. We’ll delete it, keeping only the order records the law makes us keep, and we’ll reply within one month.
Do you use cookies?
Only the few needed to make things work, plus analytics if you say yes. There are no advertising cookies.
